Healthy Homes Healthy Families is an initiative Southface created to bring to light how the built environment affects our physical health. My mission was to show how just how accessible home environmental improvement can be for regular people.
While approaching this logo design, I wanted to make sure that I brought in a feeling of a clear and concise message as the scope of this project was to teach everyday people how they can make easy and doable changes in their homes to improve their quality of life. This logo needed to show the connectivity between the healthy home and the healthy family while also being simple and straightforward.
This printable infographic of a three tier home diagram helps us to see how aspects of our home environmental and appliances can be improved to benefit our health.
A healthy home is also an environmental where the products used are eco-friendly. This infographic helps to inform us about what products we should be cautious of in our homes. I wanted to make sure that the graphic was both appealing to look at but also understandable and not overly complicated. We skipped the overly technical advice to accompany simple but modern graphics to attract the attention of young home buyers.
