Working on this project to celebrate Southface’s 40th anniversary was a challenging and rewarding piece. Southface is a leading non-profit that began as a grassroots volunteer organization dedicated to the intergration of solar energy in homes and communities. I used this piece to bring to light the mood for celebrating the 40th and the venue style — 40 years around the Sun. The white sun shines through the black landscape providing a guidance. This is a narrative for Southface’s endeavors creating an adventurous space during a new era in sustainability initiatives.

Each year, incredible local chefs utilize regionally-sourced produce and provisions to create a memorable five-course, wine-paired feast.
